The PIP (Profile Ignition Pickup), also called distributor stator or Hall effects sensor is located inside and at the bottom of your distributor. Here's what my Chilton's manual says are the wires coming out of the distributor: Dk Grn - PIP Blk/Lt Blu - IND GRN Pnk - SPOUT Wht/Pnk - IDM Red/Lt Grn - RUN B+ Tan/Yel - TACH I'm guessing that if you are looking for an RPM signal, you would want the Tan/Yel TACH wire. Tan/Yel I believe means a tan wire with a yellow stripe. That's all I can find for you. Good luck.
