To get the car certified you just have to have the cage inspected by the NHRA tech inspector. For the driver to get a NHRA liscense you have to get a physical, join the NHRA, fill out some forms, make 2 launches, 2 1/8 mile passes and 2 quarter mile passes. All the passes need to be witnessed by 2 liscensed drivers and one track official and the 1/4 mile passes need to be 9.90 or faster.
