PIR Tonight?

kewl...I will be there with the Sonic Blu GT Vert. This will be my first time doing anything like this. So I will be asking quite a few questions before I go down. Plus my son's video class from Camas High School is doing a documentary on the PIR Drag races tonight there. I'll have them interview you...lol..cya

anyone can race either night, but tonight is a Heads Up NW event where there will be faster cars, a pro tree, and a payout. Its a free event to participate in (still have to pay entry fee of course, just nothing "extra") and a chance at $100. They also run the normal lanes for the people that dont want to participate in the heads up.

Looks like the rain gods may win this one though:nonono:

Yea, we ran. Mixed results. Wally Ran Rays turbo car and went 8.8 at 161 on 10 psi but the track was a little cold to be throwing big power at it. AFP customer Tim Robards won true street and Wally was runner up in outlaw. It' was an ok night. Not a lot of cars.

im taking the vr4 down tonight if i can get my hands on a helmet.

ran last night....they gotta lay VHT out about 50 feet further. the lincoln shifted into 2nd just past the VHT and wouldnt stop spinning till i let off.

well i made it down. got a few passes in.

my hood decided it didnt want to be on my car any longer so it departed at about 1000'

ended up getting a 12.6@113 letting off when the hood came up.

i personally like track cars for the street im driving my race car at the moment. but im not sure a vr4 would be a cost efective track car. so id fix it and keep driving it. and take it drag racing every once and a while and some open tracking too. I think i might hit up drag racing this coming friday. to see if my trap speed is any faster with the different mods
