I have a billet grill that I don't really care for and I was wondering what options are out there for a plain black grill minus the running pony.

Pictures would be appreciated with the info on where to buy.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Couldnt you just get a stock 66 gril? I know for my 65 the chrome corral and pony part can be unbolted from it.

the 66 is a 2 piece grill with the pony part holding it together.

Good question, I'm sure I could and I'm sure the 65 would probably fit as well.

I was just wondering if there was an aftermarket black good quality grill, not being lazy and looking for someone to order it up for me, just looking for alternatives.

just don't like this one;

The '65 has two flat square mounting brackets for the grill bars that are visible when the ornaments are deleted, that is why I thought the GT350 grill would be better suited for what you are suggesting.

That is what I want, the 65 grill looks good. I had the normal 66 grill (minus pony)on the car before the re-paint and I liked it.

The Billet is just not working..... It will go on eBay.

Thanks for the pics Cobain

Order me and pay for a new stock 65 grill and have it sent to my house and Paypal me $50 and your address. I'll put the Billet grill in the box that the stock grill came in and ship it to you.

I think the Billet ones are around $190 and the stock is around $80.

Billet grill is going on eBay when I have the chance.

The black looks perfect on your car, don't go billet, to much bling.... I'll put it on eBay.

I would have never put it on my car, but when I bought it back (sold it, bought it back 11 mos later) it had the grill on it along with these tail light bezels..... I changed the tail light bezels out to stock before I even drove it. I guess you could say that I am a minimalist.... When I had my Saleen Extreme I took the big Saleen sticker off the windshield too.
