I'm trying to finish up my 3" exhaust consisting of BBK 1 3/4" long tubes & a 3" Mac ProChamber. Want something different. I've had older Flowmasters both 2 & 3 chamber(best sounding, but too much drone), Spintechs(too loud), Magnaflows(quiet, a little raspy), & Edelbrock RPM Series(very quiet & ****ty sound). I'd like something high flowing, but just a tad quieter than the 2 chamber Flows. Anyone have opinions on Hooker's Aero Chamber or Maximum Flow mufflers? Maybe I'll give the newer Flowmasters another shot. Which ones should I try? Please help, need to order soon!

Hooker Max Flows with shorties and a prochamber were quiet on my dads 91. Might be too quiet for you though?

I had a set of hooker aerochambers on my car. I liked them, fairly quiet when cruising but opened up when i got on it. I have since swapped them for the new flowmaster super 44's. They sound awesome.

i would recommend mac flowpaths but you want somethin quieter than flows and these are a little louder but without the drone
+1 on the Hooker Maximum Flows. Had 'em before and loved 'em. They get a little louder with time as you break them in.

Are those the new, higher flowing Flows that have a 5" thick case? Those are probably really loud tho, yes?
