I lowered my car a couple of months ago(00GT) using eibach sportlines with tokico struts and shocks. After the install i noticed severe negative CAMBER on the front right side and the the left side wasn't as bad as the right but still noticeable. I also installed steeda caster camber plates. I took it to get it aligined and after it was done I still noticed Negative CAMBER on both sides. The tech told me it was in limits so I thought it was ok. About a month later I looked at the tires and they were severly wore down on the inside part(the steel was showing) Needless to say I had to buy 2 new tires and get it aligined again. After they were done they told me that this is the best aliginment they could get because the plates were maxed out on camber. They said the plate that comes from under the strut tower was rubbing the side of the strut tower and that they couldn't move it any further. What can I do to fix this? And did I mess up my suspension? If so what can help me more as far as suspension parts go? Im not driving my car as we speak b/c I don't want to **** it up anymore!! Sorry so long! Please help me!!!

Steeda makes Camber Adjuster Bolts that will give you about another degree per side that sells for around 30 bucks, it's not much more adjustment but it will help some.

WHOA...

Just noticed your in Ventura, sweet. You should come to one of our GTG's. Marlon is the President of All Mustang and Ford of Southern California. He has an alignment shop about an hour from us. Real nice guy and does great work. We have a few Ventura County threads in the West Coast forum, you should check them every now and then to see what's up in your back yard.

I have the Steeda 4 bolt Billet Aluminum style plates and they work fine for alignment. I used the MRT Race springs which lower the Mach1 as much (or more) as the eibach sportlines do. There is plenty of adjustment for Camber and Caster. You do have to cut the thickness of the rubber on top of the stock shock dust boot to be able to get the necessary travel for the adjustment.

I installed some J&M 4 bolts plates on my sons GT and had to remove the shock dust boots completely to get enough adjusment to align it properly after lowering it 2".
