Please help with radio

Glad you got it all fixed. Now go out and replace the crappy paper speakers with some quality aftermarket ones. Then you will hear sounds in music that you never heard before.

Thanks for the post, I'm sure it will help many in the future

So, I have a new problem that I discovered on the way to work this morning. My car is not the smoothest ride in the world, and the only thing holding my head unit in place is the four screws that hold the replacement bracket to the dash. So, when I get up to 75 mph, and my car shakes (I need to figure out why) my cd skips. What can I put under the back of my head unit to secure it?

i think the best thing to do is to figure out why the car is shaking. maybe new shocks are in order? or something in the driveline isnt balanced right?

Yeah, that's my goal for tomorrow. I thought of all that, and I ruled it all out because it seems to be a tempermental problem. Sometimes at highway speed, I'll be smooth, then other times, it feels like she's going to come apart. Can you think of anything that would cause that?

i know mine has a bit of a vibration through the steering wheel over 70-75mph that sometimes seems to go away. maybe somethings up with the alignment or uneven tire wear? i dont know if this would cause it either but maybe the driveshaft wasnt put back on in the same orientation/clocking if you've had it off recently?
