I know this is not about a mustang but I need help. I have a 2.3l 86 Ranger and please do not tell me that its an interference type engine. I had a timing belt break on me while driving to work. I love my truck and as long as its broke I can't mod the stang for a long period of time.
You can sleep well tonight, it's not an interference engine. I'm not aware of any damage that will result from a broken timing belt, actually. Just replace, retime, and you should be good to go.
