i just bought a cam and put it in last weekend it went in fine w/ no problems. now this weekene i was putting in a pan and noticed womthing weird about the placement of the cam...some lobes of the cam are lined up centered with the lifters, but other lobes aren't. Then i looked at the journals and they are sticking out on one side a little less than 1/4"...the engine is out so is there anything i can do...or am i a dumb ass and thats how its soppose to be??? heres some pics of what it looks like.....
