will someone please explain how to know if heads/ cam/ intake/ RRs will fit together without problems...also anyone who has suggestions for good h/c/i/rr combo for a 88gt please let me know...thanks
well...all 5.0 mustang intakes will fit 5.0 heads. the only problem you run into is with RR's and cams and valve springs. if you have too big of lift on your cam and are running big rockers (1.7) than you might have piston to valve clearance issues. if the cam is too big for the springs you will have valve float issues. a really good setup is trick flow heads, custom cam, and cobra intake. my buddy runs that and makes like 295 hp at the rear wheels.
