Plenum Spacer or Accufab TB and Plenum?

I have a CHP Plenum spacer that I have been planning on putting on my car for a while because I was not going to change the plenum or throttle body because I am planning on getting a Kenne Bell in the future. I ended up getting a really good deal on an Accufab 75MM Plenum and throttle body and now I am trying to figure out if I should put the spacer on when I put the new plenum on or not. Has anyone seen any real gains on an NA car with a plenum spacer?

Most (if not all) aftermarket plenums have a spacer more or less designed in them...adding yet another spacer would be overkill.

Thanks. That was pretty much my thinking but was trying to figure out if I should just use it since I have it.

The plenum spacer is a $20 mod you do just to try it out, only for the pleasure of tinkering with the car.

Or he might strip the threads on the plastic intake, and ruin it

Exactly. I bought Lakewood drag shocks and KYB quad shocks for my Cobra back in 2003. I pretty much had money burning a hole in my pocket and time to kill, so I spent some time with the car that day!!

not positive, but i thought i remember a really old thread that they made some people's cars run wierd or idle funny or something. maybe do a search for that. I think that's why i never even bothered to even try one of those spacers
