Plenum spacers?

You know I was debating picking one up and porting it like I did the upper plenum. It seems most of the aftermarket plenums are taller. Perhaps that is where some of the STP feel of a plenum swap comes from. The increased "runner" length.

do u wanna p & p my plenum? :p

I say go for it. In the long run, it might contribute to an extra couple horsies after you've got a bunch of other supporting mods. I'm a believer in "every little bit helps" .... if you've got the cash to spend on it.

It really is a teadious task to do p/p yourself. my only warning to those thinking of doing the same is that the Non PI and PI uppers are slightly different.
PI has a 90degree angle for throttlebody mounting while Non is slightly angled down.
NonPI has less volume to begin with. on the bottom there is a small trench that goes from the throttle body to the inlet. Actual diameteris barely smaller but then it has that relief at the bottom.
The fitting for the vacuum line on the back is bigger on the PI.

i p/p a 97 plenum for my 00 and i probably only gained a difference from the polish and the lack of casting flash. im thinking of either going with an Acufab 75mm set or just p/p my 00 plenum.

I advise not throwing a nonPI on a PI. you would probably have gains the other way though
