I was looking in the Bullitt Archive and in the FAQ section one of the questions was: Hey where are the plug wires? The Answer was,
No plug wires, instead each plug has its own coil. Called COP, Coil On Plug.

Can you use these type of plugs in any GT Mustang? if so, do you just get rid of the coil packs? what else would need to be done?

Are you asking if you could covert your car to coil on plug?

All 99+ V8 Mustangs use Coil-on-plug now.

To retrofit it to a 96-98 Mustang would be a huge PITA and require a new engine harness and computer setup. The gains would be minimal, just buy a quality set of wires and replace them frequently.

o, so a 97 gt with the PI swap would still have coil packs then.
