Well i wouldnt worry too much about your radio. But if the coating on the wire doesn't hold the magnetic flux in well enough, it could interfere with the electronics of your car. But wires and plugs make no real difference unless they were the cause of your problems. So, id get new wires just because yours are old. Btw, i would still say go with a damn copper plug. Those stupid iridiums and platinums and whatever they are don't help at all. Ill explain why. All they do is add more flat contact spaces for the spark to go to. After a while the flat piece on a spark plug can become rounded. These people add more of them (up to 4 i think) so it looks like you have 4 instead of one. Well a spark only flies from 1 to 1 at any one given moment. So having 3 more only increase the life of the plug, not performance. And sometimes, they add more of those because they actually are a crappier plug. Hence, they need 4 instead of one since they are lower quality.
