Polish Intake

Anyone tried to polish their 96-98 cobra intake?? My cobra no longer has the clear coat or pain on it and doesn't look very attractive. I was wanting to polish this to match my polished blower but did not know how to do this. Would you start out with low grit sandpaper and work you way up??

yeah that would be good. maybe a dremel with the polishing parts. but if you dont have that, the sandpaper should do the trick. i really think the dremel would make things much easier, especially if you want to get it looking very clean

Thats cool I will problably try the dremel out, has anyone tried using a dremel, I want to do it while the intake is still on the car

You will probably want to remove it to do a better job. Also you don't run the risk of screwing up something else in the engine bay if your hand slips while using the dremel.
