I'm organizing (and I use that term VERY loosely) a driving event from Reno, NV to Tulsa, OK in 2010. The Restomods in Reno show is June 11 to 13. The Mid America Shelby Meet is June 16 to 20th. I plan to attend both. We will be leaving Reno on Monday the 14th at 0800 and will drive approx 530 miles to Silver Creek Junction, UT the first day. The next day we will again leave at 0800 and drive 588 miles to Limon, CO. The final day's drive will start at 0730 and will arrive in Tulsa that evening around 5:30PM. We will have a one hour stop to stretch and eat lunch each day.

Let me know if you're interested. If there is enough interest, I'll get more organized. We'll have drivers meetings in the morning before heading out each day.

Getting more organized

I have my first sponsor, Mustangs Plus, which means I'll be getting more advertisement and a few door prizes. I'm working on getting both Ford Performance Parts and Shelby Performance Parts as sponsors also.

I'm hoping my local Mustang Club will allow me to use their website to host the registration and information page. I already have a volunteer to manage the web pages. Since he's donating his time we're going to keep it very simple, nothing fancy.

If there is enough interest I'll make some rally type questions to answer while driving. You must have a partner to participate in the question rally for safety reasons.
