I just purchased the Pony Package Grill and lighting and in the midst of installing it on my 2006, V6. However, I have run into two problems. The instructions provided by Ford indicate that when you splice the wiring into the wiring by the fuse box that you look for a yellow wire with a white stripe, I have only found is a yellow wire with a green stripe in the car. Is this the same one? Also, when I attach the wiring into the new switch in the dash, the wiring is required to be inserted into the first two slot of the plug (I guess it is the plug). However, there is wiring already in that area. Do I "piggy back" the wiring or do I cap it off? O Of course I called Ford and they were helpless. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anyone do this install on their mustang?

ok so i figured it out . first your in the wrong harness the lt green is the low beam. the harness closer to the firewall it the one to look in the yellow white is there. it is the high beam and it turns off the fogs when the high beam is on. have your guy verify it by turning on the high beams and it should go hot . as far as the switch is concerned you have the wiring so yes you can splice on to those wires the violet / orange wire coming from the switch is the led on the switch (should be pin #3) and the other wire orange /lt green (should be pin#6) is to turn on the fogs. i will send you the pdf wire diagrahms. sorry for the delay but i am in the midle of a remodle on my home and my blue prints are messed up.

Ok, based on your instructions, we were able to finish the install in a matter of minutes. Thanks for your help. Interestingly enough, the wiring at the harness near the fuse box for the high beams is white. We found it by simply seeing which one went hot when the highbeams were turned on.
