I was checking out my old intake now that my car has a new one, and I noticed that there is a TON of flash in the #7 cylinder intake port. I was essentially running on 7.5 cylinders! I wish I could get a picture of it, but they're not really turning out since the subject is black on black.

I hereby dub the "Dave mod" as taking off your intake, checking the intake ports, removing flash, and reinstalling. Should be good for a couple of horsepower, and it's free!

Flash is material left over from the casting process. It is supposed to be removed after casting, but sometimes (apparently) it is not.

Fuel The fuel pump doesn't stop priming and I can hear a hissing noise on the lower intake area (passenger side).
