My buddy just bought a 2003 Black GT with 16,000 miles. He was wondering if you can port and polish the P.I. intake he has on his car?

It's plastic. There isn't much to grind on it. And I would think it's already pretty smooth on the inside.

These posts are useless...thanks, you're welcome, no problem.
Tyson, don't you have a 4.6L???

Did you mean PnP the intake plenum (or intake elbow)? If so, yes, that can be done, and there are some gains to be had, but they are minimal. You're friend would likely get more HP from a spacer between the intake plenum/elbow and the manifold.

Yeah, real useless. He asked a question and I answered it. Then he said thanks and I was polite and said no problem. I guess I shouldn't be polite when I post on here.

My bad, bro. I guess I was just a bit bothered by the whole question from a current 4.6L owner - I mean, doesn't he know it's a composite manifold? Ahh, but we're all newbies once. No excuses though - my apologies to all.
