Trak-loc can be used to help you gain traction since both tires are connected mechanically. This way when 1 loses traction, you still have the other one pushing.

I dont get this piece. The point of a limited slip is to keep this from happening.
If you want an open and a spool, get an air locker or the new electric locker. Then you have an open when you want it and a spool for uncompromised straight line traction.
My F150 had an open. I could barely get it to move in the rain (what is snow?). It would still slide in the turns with too much throttle. My 250 has a limited slip. WAAY better to get moving in rain. 7100 lbs and 525ft-lbs need to be handled with some intelligence.
I think he means if you have one wheel peel and you have the one tire spinning a ton, then you won't fishtail because the other side won't be spinning. But with a trac-lok/posi rear end, if you get one spinning fast, the other one will be spinning just as fast and the rear will be all over the place.
