I asked because I see the "Ashtray" option in the cup-holder.

The S197's don't come with an ashtry, I don't know about the the SN95's or earlier models.

I really like the tail lights all the export stangs get. Anyone know if you can buy those here and do an easy retrofit? Or is the whole wiring harness different?

I swiped the ashtray out of the SN95 I traded in. I use it to keep parking meter change.

Very nice ride! My just purchased '06 convert CAME with an ashtray and lighter installed, and they were used, so the car was undoubtedly "smoked in." YUK! However, I now use the ashtray the same way you do...

I used the ashtray in my '00 for change as well. Now it just sits in the bottom of the open cup holders with my sunglasses in my '06.

racer_inboston, it took me a few seconds to notice your car has the quarter window scoops Being all white and that angle hides them. I like the painted to match wheels

Very nice car MYGT8U Don't care for the headlamps, but that is definitely personal taste. I like the interior mods too. Also nice to see another fellow VA Stanger

I'll bite... here's my stock GT. Built in March, picked up first weekend of April. Just under 10k on it already... this picture was taken in May of this year.

Sorry for the pic size...

Thanks, man!

I was thinking Alloy, but my wife convinced me to go with VB. She was right. Cervini's has a few things I've got my eye on over the next year... show (cheap) first, then the go gets added.

im starting to think that the S197 platform cars have a part in the paperwork that says if you are over 35 that you WILL make it look like absolute ****...

with that said, ive seen some nice cars in here but mainly ones that werent so nice....

red car on page 17 or so...

You may be right.

What page is yours on? Looks as if I missed it.

Mine, with recently added SVT "Fanblade" or "Majorette TR7" or "Campagnolo" (or something) look:

But wait! There's more ... (next post)

way to introduce yourself to the S197 forum. thanks for bashing our cars. i doubt that would fly in any other forums either. did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed? sometimes comments like these are best kept to yourself. :Zip2:
