15* doesnt make *THAT* big of a difference... And hell, if you're at the track im hoping your icing your intake down and pushing it anyway... So put the grille back on before you put a hole in your radiator and run 150* hotter...

Well, I've run into a snag with my tune.

I got it dyno'ed and it put down 388 rwhp loaded (413 no load) at 8 lbs boost.
But the AFR was at 12.3, which is entirely too lean.

The low boost was achieved by putting a Steeda underdrive pulley instead of the one that came with the Roush kit.

So in the next month or so, I'm upgrading the fuel pump to the GT500 dual pump system and putting the stock lower pulley back on, which *should* generate 12 lbs of boost... according to JDM Engineering.

With the upgraded fuel pump and 12 lbs boost, and a better tune, I'm expecting around 440-450 rwhp with load. We will see. The car performs very well as it is, but there's more to be had. I'm not willing to got higher than 450 rwhp on a stock motor. One day I'll get a Ford Racing short block and bump up to 550+!

As for cost, I don't have a real number for the blower alone. I spent $10,600 out the door for the blower, Shelby GT500 frontend and hood conversion, painted mirrors, Silver Racing louvers, and some other smaller details (touch up paint on the car, extra 7-rib belt and some various labor cost).

Maybe a little on the pricey side, but I'm not complaining. I love my new car!

ALRIGHT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT! Come on now I was just trying something new. YES my aerodynamics are SHOT. Used to cruise at 120 now its unstable at 95. Guess I'll get a bullitt grill when money permits. Really all that cool air makes no difference? What about a cold air intake what about "ram air." Icing a plastic intake works? figured the plastic would give up the chill quicker than metal.

Seriously thank you for your comments and concerns

Thats not bad at all and there is no price when it comes to quality and perfection,
at least for me lol

So wut transmission are u running?

and all the mods u did, did that void your waranty? My car is Brand new and im anxious to do my mods but the only one thats real power and has the waranty in tact with a ford dealer instalation is the Roush....

It's an automatic. And of course when I got all this installed, the manufacturer warranty is void. But I exceeded 30k miles anyways so I didn't have the basic warranty any more.

A good tuner will warranty their work, though. So as long as you get a modest blower with a good tune from a quality tuner, you should be ok.

haha waiting until the 23rd aka my next check.

i wanna order the wheels and tires at the same time, and don't wanna blow all my money right now, + still not sure what i wanna do for tires.

was gunna go with some M&H or Mickey Thompsons, but i saw Hoosier Slicks for 160. thinking about ordering two slicks and two 15x8s and just drivin them to the track and back. then tax return time order another rear set for regular street driving.

i dunno, money sucks not having loads. haha.
