My new ride

Just bought my first ever Mustang after dreaming for years. These pics were taken before European modifications (white front "parking lights to be added, indicator flashers on the side of the car under the GT logo, tail lights modified so that we have orange flashers, fog lamp added to rear). I will upload new pics soon of the mods.

Imported to the England and believed to be the first on the road - had to wait nearly 3 months from order to pick-up. 1 day after pick up its out of England on the road to Lithuania. Nice 4 day drive with the top down for nearly 3,000 km.

VERY VERY Happy

Good thing you said something about tires up front, autumn...cause I didn't see them otherwise Now get some better pics! I wanna see those new rear fatties!!!!!

Looks good, Grey, but now how often do you get the comment, "Nice 6er!"??? I got quite a few when I had the pony emblems and the Bullitt grille I haven't gotten any since switching to the GT500 front

It has not happened yet. I have the boomtubes, so anyone close enough to see the car, can hear the car as well. But, I have noticed that I am getting a lot more stares. I think people might be confused as to what it is. Not sure if I really like the grille yet, it is still growing on me.... I want to keep everything very subtle. I thought the billet grille would be a good way to simplify the front and make a more elegant look. But... its just too attention grabbing. Maybe because I am used to the car without it, so its all I notice right now. I am also going to remove those fogs, that was an idea that just did not pan out.

I "hear" ya, Grey! When I got the comments, I had the O/R H and Flows or MACs, so it was also quite loud and noticeable, but all the comments came from when the car wasn't running. Guess they just figured it was a 6er with dual tips and didn't notice the front bumper was different
As far as your grille goes, I like that style, but prefer the black (I almost bought one until I saw them release the Bullitt grille). You can always paint or have it powder coated black

Here's a pic of a 6er that's in a club I belong to. It has the GT/CS wheels, GT500 rear spoiler, side scoops, quarter window scoops, GT rear bumper and dual exhaust that make it look like a V8, BUT...it doesn't sound like one and also has the 4.0 fender badge as not to try and fake anybody too much...lol!

yeah i've been telling myself to invest in a camera, just haven't seen anything that really caught my eye for the price. i am not huge into taking pictures so it'll be a point and shoot, but i want a pretty good point and shoot.

my priority is to pay off my car more though, before i make any other decent sized purchases. with the swap meet a month and 5 days away i dont know how much self control i'll have hahah.

Newer pics with light mods

Here are some I took this week that show off the mods that needed to be done for Europe. Side indicators (below the GT badge), and from white side lights (under the bumper)

Hey all, New here but thought i'd share my new ride. Picked it up last weekend, need some better pics.

Your car is absolutely beautiful in that color and the HIDs look great on it. Is there an aftermarket grill that either updates the old round "spotlights" to a style that will go better with the HIDs or remove them entirely. The 2010 GT is truly stunning but would look even better with those big foglights out of the grill. I had a 2005 GT and never did like them up there but I think Ford has left them so people can tell the difference between the V6 and GT. The new 2010 V6 really looks nice with the plain blacked out front and black pony.

Your car would look mean as Heck with a black grill.

Ya Fladriver, I totally agree. All I've found for after market grilles is the site below-but its in silver.

2010 FORD MUSTANG GT, MAIN BILLET GRILLE, 3PC - Ford - Shop By Make - Grilles

I haven't seen a black grille for the 2010 gt, have you or anyone else?
The one I'm getting is a silver gt premium hard top-Def want a grille in black-then it will very SICK!

waxjob!

Finally got the chance to wax today. I went to take pics, but a waxed alloy car in bright sunshine is damn near impossible to photograph. Maybe I will take a few more at twilight.

I felt the cervini was too much of a distraction. The combination of an aftermarket grille and a lowered suspension looked too "street tuner" for my taste. I wanted a more stock look, so the lowered ride height will be the only thing that indicates I have modded the car. Good thing I kept the stock grille (not that I could have sold it).

Thanks Steve - i love the look too and agree. I have been looking for an alternative to the foglights - at this point all ive seen that looks decent is a grille by EG i believe but its aluminum / chrome waiting to see wat else becomes available.

Thanks again
