Here are some before and after photos of my 65. I got it back in high school and I took DAMN good care of it back then. Then I went off to college, couldn't take it with so it sat, being driven only over holidays for 3-4 years until the engine started to go and then its sat for another 5 years. Now I've graduated and looking for a job so I can start working on her again.

That looks like a great car. I can't wait to see it freshened up. I'm not sure about the scoop on the hood though. Its too square for the cars rounded lines. I think it would look better either without it or with a 65-66 Shelby scoop. The ealier highscool picture didn't work.

+1 on that, been getting into 6-bangers over the last couple of years. Love the steel wheel look with chrome wheel nuts - that's been one of my favourite looks for years. Also looks great with redline tires or a chrome trim ring.

Yeah, it's been neglected mechanically. It has an older repaint that's pretty presentable--driver-quality. But it's never been rebuilt, engine OR front end. Definitely needs the interior totally gone through.

It's also sat for several years and suffers the typical stuff from that--the carb was junk and leaking, radiator is leaking, bad battery cable connections, all that. Nothing major though. I've had the car out and have driven it and it drives pretty nice. So I'm optimistic that once we've gotten the bugs worked out it's going to be a nice car.

Oh, couple other frustrations--have trouble with all four window regulators and both doors. Have gotten the driver's door to where it will work from inside AND outside, but the passenger door wont' open at ALL!

It's been about 3 years since I was last here, but here are some pictures of her when I got her, and how she is now.

Edit: You might need to right click the links and open them in a new window to see.

Here is an updated pic of my 67 Coupe. After a year of work (floor pans and other things I did myself) I just got her inspected on Sunday. It still needs paint, interior and a few other things but now I can really enjoy it while im working on it.

I took the wife out for the first cruise tonight, we had a blast!

Here's some pics of my 69 Boss 302. This is how I found her.

And at home after getting it. And somewhat cleaned up.

OUCH!!!!!

I bought her off the second owner. He had bought it in the early 70's out of a junkyard. The original engine and trans had already been stripped. It had been hit in the driver side quarter panel. So he fixed it and then painted it blue. ??? And also put in a 351W and Borgwarner. In 2002 he was driving it in February in hit black ice. Which led the Boss into a telephone pole. It was parked ever since. I found the car and was told it wasn't for sale. But later I got to talk to the real owner. LOL The city had tagged the car. It was going to the crusher, but luckily I got her first. Originally Bright Yellow with white deluxe interior, chin and rear spoilers, louvers, fold down seats and trap door to trunk. Hoping to have it back on the road Summer 2011!
