My intake has sat around for a bit and has gotten a little surface alum oxidation. Is it Ok to powder coat the Upper and Lower Intake?

I sanded my explorer upper down and smoothed it out. Had it powdercoated silver metalic. I sanded down the edges of the elbow that met up with the upper and had it powdercoated as well to match.

Its fine to powdercoat it.

here are some pics

Don't want to hi-jack the thread but was curious about the fuel lines in the first picture. It looks like you have a couple of fuel lines coming off of the fuel rail where the schrader valve used to be. Are you taping into this location for a fuel pressure gauge? What is the purpose of the second line?

Looks like a wet nitrous kit fuel plumbing to me.

One line is for a autometer pro-comp liquid filled fuel pres. guage that is mounted on the cowl. The second line is in fact for a n2o wet setup.

cool I am going the powder coat route.

I was just wondering about the injector holes and such since i know the powder coat takes up a little space.
