Does anyone know which color wires & where they feed through are for power locks? My power locks in my 1993 mustang LX aren't working and I want to look under the dash and such and see if I can fix it. The car has stickers for an alarm system that is no longer on it anymore, so I assume when the system was removed the power locks were disconnected and not reconnected. I have an owners manual but you need like a 3000x magnifying microscope to read the damn thing. Any help is appreciated thanks.

I would first take the door panel off and see if the power lock acutator has power going to it, if so then it might be the acutator, if not then its a wiring problem,

Yes. I already did that, and the actuator is receiving the power it should be. I just need to know where the wire feeds through under the dash, and WHICH wire it is so I can check it and figure out where its not connected or whats wrong with it.

If the actuator is getting power, then it's probably a bad actuator and not wiring.

installers often tap into locks at the top of the driver kick panel. if you pull the kick panel, right at the top of where the panel would be, you will see a few large connectors. a lot of the wire lock colors are primaried pink (IIRC). check those wires/connectors.

someone might have cut the wires for SPDT relays and simply did not reconnect the wires, just as you said. that would be the first place i look.

otherwise, the wires run along the interior side of the firewall, IIRC.

good luck.

good call - when i read it the first time, i thought he wrote that lock actuator is not receiving the power it should be.

if it is getting power, i would look at the actuator, as said. also, if not using the actuator ground while testing, i would ensure the ground wire in the middle of the door is good.

good luck.

Sorry, my fault. I kinda went retarded with my post and wasn't paying attention. The actuators are NOT getting power.. I believe (not 100% sure) that the switch panel was sending out the power like its supposed to but the actuator wasn't getting it. Where does an alarm system normally tap into the power locks wiring?

Edit: I'll take a look through the pink wires and see what I come up with as to if they're connected properly.
