lastnight i had my cobra out at walmart and someone decided to smash off my driver's side power mirror....
my question is, when i go to buy a replacement, are the 94-95 mustang and GT mustang mirrors the same as the 94-94 cobra mirrors?

thanks

Yup, same thing. The 96-98 mirrors are the same, but the wires are switched in the connector. You can pop out the wires from the connector, reverse them and it'll work fine. Did that with both of my mirrors.

i had the same thing happen and i got the replacement from my work for $40 after my 25% discount. I work at Kragen. also known as CSK Auto. It is made by K-source and it works and looks just like the stock one.

Mike if you still have the studs and the mirror then why don't you use some quik set epoxy to fix it. I've done 3 already for locals here and it works just fine. Just trying to save you some $$. If you need the glass only then I'll find my stock ones and send it to you. Just let me know.

Guys,

My driver's side mirror wobbles around in the housing side-to-side about a quarter of an inch.

Not sure what is broken inside to cause that. Can it be fixed, or I am stuck buying an entire new assembly?

Thanks for any help.

I thought the 96-98 mirrors were textured and ours were smooth

I don't know about OEM, but I haven't seen that in the aftermarket versions.
