Power Steering Cooler

ATI recommends relocating the power steering cooler to make room for the IC. We just decided to bypass and eliminate it. Any cons to this? For a DD would this have any effects?

none at all. i ditched mine and haven't looked back.

My feeling is that if something wasn't deemed as being really needed, millions would not have been spent on having it around.

Synthetic fluid or a fender-well mounted stacked plate cooler (with air ducting) might be worthwhile.

i think we're gonna do without. apparently the fluid had been neglected and came out looking like 10k mile motor oil so im hoping that fresh fluid w/o a cooler will do better than cooked fluid w/ cooler.
