An aftermarket K member isn't a good choice for a daily driver. They are intended for cars that run on nice smooth racetracks, not streets with potholes, curbs, railroad tracks and manhole covers. Look at the amount of metal in the stock K member; it is a very solid piece of metal designed to absorb all this street driven punishment and never cause alignment problems.

As for manual steering, if you do a lot of low speed driving or wrangling parking the car, you will regret having it. Once you get rolling over 20 miles and hour, it isn't so bad. Below that, it can be miserable; if your wife or GF drives the car, be ready to hear the complaints..
