power steering hose?

what do you use to seal the hose? i see there is a white gasket but they tear up easy

seems to me it is a teflon gasket/o-ring. parts store should sell them.

One 5/16" or 8 MM O ring for the tube & a teflon ring that fits on the threads. Heat the teflon ring in HOT water prior to trying to install it. If it doesn't fit, or tears up when you install the teflon ring, don't worry. The rubber O ring does all the sealing. Coat the rubber O ring with oil once you have it on the tube.
