Power Steering Leak ?

My '91 LX 5.0 convertible just developed a huge power steering leak. It starts when the engine is running, and looks like its coming from underneath the battery area!!

We just moved to Florida and my jacks and ramps are NOT here yet.

Any idea what could be the problem? Are there hoses underneath the battery for the power steering?

Larry, the power steering 'cooler' is right in that neighborhood. A quick visual inspection should be very revealing.

I used bulk hydraulic line (3/8" Power steering/trans line IIRC) to replace the line from the rack to the cooler, and then from the cooler to the pump.

The remaining line is the High pressure line, but it is furthest from the battery.
