Power Steering Problem

As I was taking out car for test ride after putting carb on (still a problem) - turned tight corner and now when I turn wheel get a loud shuddering noise - check fluid and belt - it was fine. Any idea on where to start to figure out what is going on? thanks

Check your powesteering ram mount on the chassis rail for movement. Especially if you have a drop bracket for headers.

Have you figured out anything with your steering?
My 68 started to do that yesturday.

could it be air in the ram?

Had air in the lines. Turned the wheel all the way back and forth a couple of times and it was okay..
