Long time listener, first time caller here, and hopefully this is a quick question! I am chasing down some electrical gremlins in my '01 GT and I am about to replace the power wire (an SR Performance power wire kit) but came across some quick questions. There aren't any good instructions and everything I look up just says "connect one end to the alternator and the other to the battery" but when I trace the wires it looks like the wire goes from the alternator to the power distribution box. But further complicating it is that it looks like the wire goes and joins a ground wire into the fuseable link, then two wires connect to the power distribution box (and a wire from the power distribution box to the positive end of the battery). How the heck am I supposed to swap this thing? Can I just cap the ground and run the kit from the alternator to the power distribution box (and not worry abotu the two wire split)? This is the kit I am using: https://www.americanmuscle.com/premium-power-wire-kit-9414-excluding-gt500.html
