Does anyone have experience installing one of these? I have installed but I am a little confused from the directions. Since the stock 5.0 only has 1 wire that connects to the starter the instructions say to jump it from the BAT terminal of the starter.

So I am a correct to create a wire that connects the ignition side terminal of the starter to the BAT terminal of the starter?

Yes all you have to do is make a jumper wire. Just make sure you use a good quality wire.

Thanks, thats whatI thought, I also looked online at PowerMaster's website and they had a newer version of the instructions you could download and had a diagram and clearer instructions.

I had the same problem when I installed one. The jumper wire made it work.

Great! So you have a powermasters starter? I have a question for you the battery cable did you need to make the hole bigger so it could fit on the post? Cause that is what I am going to have to do.

They should have but it was a simple fab. Took about 3" of 10 AWG wire and put the crimpled the correct sized eyelets on it and was ready to go. Not bad could be way worse, wiring up a kill switch for a battery relocation kit, that took awhile!

I'm not talking about the jumper wire, I am talking about the stock wiring to the starter, it will not fit on the BAT terminal.
