PPL with MAC off road h pipe come in....

i have a mac off road h pipe and flowmaster 40's
(im sure im the only one with that combo)
my question is does everyone elses always sound like its leaking? i check for leaks all the time but never find anything. then i tighten it all up and it sounds better for a day or 2 then right back to leaky.

Maybe take it to a shop. I have a mac o/r prochamber and I put it on and it leaked. Sometimes you just cant get it to sit on there right. I took mine to a shop, he loosened the bolts, put something up against the middle part of the pipe to keep it firm up against the header and re-tightened them. No more leak! Its better to have the pipe firm up against the header and then tighten the bolts instead of using the bolts to pull the two together. Its just real hard to do laying down and having less than a foot to work with.

i ve had my on for 5 months and still no leaks or anything. Im sure it couldnt hurt to re tighten everyting up though. Which part do you think the leak is coming from???H-pipe to the flowmasters?

most likely where it touches to the header

Most likely the left header/h pipe connection is not totally sealed. Did you install the sleeve that Mac includes for this connection?
