Has anyone tried the preditor on a GT yet? If so what kinds of gains have you experienced? Is it pretty easy to use? Really interested in getting one.

I have it and I like it a lot. However, I think where it shines the most for me, is it's ability to firm up my shifts.... The car definately felt faster afterwards... how much, I don't know. So I guess I don't know exactly how much you'll notice on a manual. I also used it to turn off my rear o2 sensors b/c of my off road x-pipe, which was great. When i do gears, it will correct my speedo as well.

Hopefully others will chime in, as i know there are people on here with it. Also, you should do a search on it...there is some info on there.

It increases your lower end hp and torque! I feel it with my 3.73's in. Also, corrected speedo for tire size as well as gears.

Oh, turned off traction control too.

I have a predator tune on an '04 GT 5spd which was basically stock when I installed it. It definitely made the car go through the gears faster and it's super easy to use. It takes you through the process and 5 minutes later your car is a little bit faster. Plus, you can use it to read error codes, disable O2's after exhaust work, and calibrate speedo after gear swap. Overall I'd say it was worth every penny. I've never looked back.

-Biased opinion obviously but I hope it helps.

I have a predator and I love it. I got a custom tune from RWTD and the car seems to have a quicker take off and pick-up.

i actually just bought one off ebay. Should be here next week. Im pretty excited. My x pipe should also be here next week so ill be able to recalibrate for my 373's turn my rear o2's off and other things. There is a local shop around here in Lancaster PA, he is a diblosport dealer and he does all my work on my car. He said that it would defn be worth it and that i could bring it into him and he could adjust more things on and get more power from the tune provided by diablosport. Ill post my results next week.

I've had mine for a month or so now, and I really enjoy it. I have an auto, so I really get gains from it. I had 4.10s installed, so that makes it really worth it as well. Plus, being able to fine tune all sorts of different things makes it really worth it. It has a real wealth of stuff that can be done for GTs.

I recommend downloading the manual and reading it here:

http://www.diablosport.com/Downloads.php#Predator Manuals

This way you can read through it and see what the tuner really does!

the predator helps tremendously not only with the extra hp/trq you recieve but it also a scan tool and also can turn off your 02 sensors, use it as a mobile diagnostic tool. it also helps if you have a supercharger you can get a custom tune sent right to your predator from diablo themselves. my 2 cents is that it definately is worth it

Mine gave me a gob of tq. I am totally happy with mine. If you start fine tuning the fuel air ratio, you can even squeeze more out of it!! But mine did not give me the option to turn off my O2 sensors. Can anyone tell me why??

go to the modify parameters and under the OBDII you will see heater bank 1 and heater bank 2. these are your rear o2 sensors. turn these off and that will turn off your rear o2's

My has helped out a ton with one exception. I am running lean from 2k to 4k, possibly due to the MAF. Although the MAF meters out fine, other than that its perfect. With the limited mods I have I am pushing 255rwhp and 297rwtrq. Has anyone else had an issue running lean we went all the way to 40 rich and it did not effect the car at all. From 4k to 7k the a/f ratio settings is just right. 2k to 4k its as high as 14 lean. Had it on the dyno for a couple of hours and can't figure it out. I am going to try a stock MAF and go from there.

I dont have that option on mine, so I did the only things that it would let me:

egr - off (not sure what this will do)
obdII - off
obdII test- off

Any suggestions?? It reads that the heater bank sensor is tripping the light, but doesnt give me the option to shut them off, just to clear the codes.

For me, the maximum rwhp and tq gains were barely noticeable. But it did greatly improve my lower powerband. Also, I have my shifts set on firmest and that alone made my auto GT a totally different ride.

I am thinking about getting a diablo also, but i have a cnl mass air meter and i heard that if you have a cnl and the diablo that you will run too lean and could damage your engine. I know that the cnl does lean it out a little but do you all think the cnl and the diablo would be too much. I would like to try a programmer but if it leans me out too much then i won't waste my money.
