This issue is just about done and should be at the printers later this week.

I talked to the printers today, and they have already started working on it, and it could be done and in the mail by the start of next week

At 52 pages, it should be a good read. Excellent job again Chuck on the cover!

Right. Isn't it funny? I purchased my first Saleen 89-0028 14 years ago. I guess I just wasn't interested in any of Debbie's offerings for what Saleen had to offer before. All of "the crew" with Saleen Club of America are more along the lines of my style.
Looking forward to the latest issue.

hmm, thought the SA-5 car was an '87 model yr and it was dismantled after press was concluded?

Nope, the prototype was made from Saleen 88-0003, originally owned by a Saleen employee.
This issue has a 10 page article on this car, written by Brad Bowling, (author of the Saleen Book).
Lots of color pictures, too.


The Mike Davis interview also provides a very interesting look at a "private" Saleen racing effort.
