Primer entire car or just primer the spots with body filler?

I was under the impression that I needed to prime the entire car for my repaint. I talked to another guy today and he said depending on how many dents you filled, you may need to just prime what I fixed, and not the entire car. Here is a bad picture of my car, it has a few door dings but nothing crazy, maybe like 10 of these tiny door dings...should I spray just those with primer or the entire car? What would you guys do?

Also, the C pillars, A pillars, spoiler, bumpers, fenders, hood, have already been primered if that makes a difference.

I would prime that quarter panel just below the body line. The door I think I see your dings there too. I would just spot prime them. So I guess to answer your question, unless there are dings spread out all over the panel I wouldn't prime the whole panel.

Prime the entire car. Are you sending it to a shop to finish the paint?

Did you do all this to get rid of the dents or was the paint in bad shape?
