I was wondering how fast do you spin the oil pump to prime the engine. Never done this, so want to get it right.

Right before my first startup I just had the drill going full blast. The resistance only let it go so fast though. I did that a couple times for maybe 30 seconds and everything went well.

Prime it until you see oil coming up thru the lifters/rocker arms then you know the system is full of oil.

If you do it long enough, your drill will start smelling bad. Then you know you are done. Same way my g/f cooks.

Seriously, it's tough on a drill.

Just remember you need to run the drill in reverse. You'll be blowing air into your crankcase otherwise.

Also, you'll know if you're going backwards when you encounter a lot less resistance.

I'm pretty guilty of doing this, I hate to admit it.

The lifters filling are the indication when to stop. Hope she fires up for ya!
