I am going to install a Pro 5.0 shifter on my son's '04 Stang tomorrow. Does anybody have any install hints? I put a Hurst Billet Plus on my 2000 Stang and I assume it's pretty much the same.

same deal , just make sure you put the plastic bushing on new shifter , clean and silicone good , adjust stops with a little slack in all the gears . have fun
easy install on any shifter 10-min TOPS and if it takes longer your doing something wrong!

**Tip to adjust the slack push the shifter all the way into 1st gear and adjust the bolts and put a Dime between the shifter and the bolt then pull the dime out and go 1/4 turn and lock it down! should give ya .100 gap
do the same for 2nd gear!
