I don't know about with one is better but,I have a Steeda Tri-Ax
shifter and it shifts great! It's definitly a quality piece
Anything is better than the stock shifter though.

Another vote for the Pro 5.0 here.
We have both shifters and we both prefer the Pro 5.0. Either one is MUCH better than stock.

I didn't want to take a chance on a newly released shifter so I went with the Pro 5.0. Installed it about a week ago and I can't stop driving the car because of it. So much more fun to row through the gears. Buy one and enjoy .

When I installed my Steeda Tri-ax I didn't use any RVT.
I don't think you use RVT when installing a shifter.

oh? well the pro 5.0 instructions said you should so it doesnt leak. unless they are just saying that to cover their ass.

i went to install mine, and i couldnt get the damn shifter cover off, guess i didnt give it enough force. i had like 15 minutes to do the install anyway and i just said screw it and was going to do it when i had more time and that sealant.

I just installed the MGW shifter today. It replaced my tri-ax that has been on since new(10k miles). The MGW piece is way better and I would recommend that one for anyone looking for a shifter. Shifts are butter smooth and quiet. No tranny noise at all.

so the handle mounts to the side. i'm guessing that it's adjustable to driver preference. my question is how does this look in the car with the handle hanging out the side? or does it hide under the boot? that's really my only question i have with it. i've read on the forums that everyone who has it loves it. i'm just curious as to how it looks
