Is anyone using a Pro 5.0 shifter on their S197? I was looking for some feedback on the Pro 5.0 for the S197 cars, and most of the posts are talking about the hurst or MGW.

I alway ran a pro 5.0 on my foxbodies, and I loved it, nice and tight!!! I Just wanted to make sure that I make the right choice for my S197, and my $300, LOL!

Overwhelmingly, Mustangers are going for the MGW shifter - for a reason.

Agreed if you are willing to spend 300 on a shifter then go with mgw... but I haven't tried the 5.0 so I cant answer your specific question

I bought the Pro 5.0 used for like $150, but I havent installed it yet. I was always happy with my previous shifter from them, but if the MGW is significantly better I may switch to that, but after I try the 5.0 first.
