use the search function to get your fill of information. people are evenly split and you cant go wrong with either.

I use the Pro 5.0 base with the Tri-Ax shifter handle and I love it.

As stated above, they are both great shifters, you just have to figure out which you prefer. From what I hear the Pro 5.0 is almost to short of a throw for some people. My Tri Ax has been great so far I like the feel and its cool to hear it click at each shift

Both are great shifters - we have both, but personally I prefer the Pro 5.0 - shorter, firmer shifts...The click heard at each shift, by the way, is not the Tri-Ax shifter, it's the Tremec - my Pro 5.0 does the same, but it does not happen on the Tri-Ax on the T-45 in the 01 GT. If I wanted the longer handle, the Tri-Ax handle is less than $30 and bolts right up...but being over 6', I have no problem with the short shifter...I prefer it that way.

My t-45 clicks when I shift. I prefer the tri-ax. It depends how long you want your shifts. I drove someones car with a pro 5.0 and a it was to short for me.

I just installed my tri ax and it has cured all my 3650 blues. I can now jam through all my gears with confidence. I lowered my 0-60 on my g tech to 5.1 from like 5.7 the 1-2 shift is so much better. I am so happy with it.

i've got a pro 5.0 and love it. the pro 5.0 has a shorter handle and some people switch out the handle with something else to make it longer. but between pro 5.0 and tri-ax ... it's a 50/50 split.
