I am installing a Track Heat intake in my 67 mustang and just put in an sn95 fuel rail and the front crossover hose hits the front of the lower intake. It is very snug. I had to pull back on the rails hard to get the bolts to line up. Will it be safe with that much pressure on the crossover hose? Also I dropped in my distributer and the body hits the same crossover hose. Why is this so tight? Is there anything I can do to fix this.? It was fine with my fox rail because the crossover hose was shaped differently. I need the sn95 rail because I am supercharging the engine. Any ideas will help. Thanks

Im pretty sure they are all kinda tight... TFS intakes had a notching in the front of the lower so the fuel lines and rails still fit ok. I know my Ditsy is so tight...
Notice the little lip on the lower...

Mine was also very tight. I SLIGHTLY clearanced the intake so the dizzy wouldnt rub. My fuel line ran under the dizzy IIRC. Good luck, hope you get it figured out. A supercharged 5.0 in a classic stang sounds awesome!

I was thinking of notching out the lower intake to follow the contour of the sn95 crossover. It looks like I can go in about 1/4" like trick flow did with the notch for the fox rail crossover. I am just afraid that with all the tension on the crossover that it will weaken it. I was also thinking of heating up the crossoveer to reshape it a little so it fits better in the notch that is already there. I will practice this on a couple of stock fox rails before attempting it on my brand new SN95.

I recently bought a used Street Heat intake and the previous owner had used a Dremel to clearence the lower intake for the lines and dizzy, fits like a GLOVE now. Theres plenty of meat down there for some major clearencing if needed!

I ended up grinding the lower intake some. It fits perfect now. There is plenty of meat to grind down there.
