Picked this hood up yesterday, and did some fitment today. After messing with the hinges a bit and some fender bolts, it lined up good. However, the part im having trouble with is, when the hood LATCHES, the passenger side kinds stays popped up like 2 to 2 1/2 inches?
First thought was that it was warped. Checked that on flat ground and no its not. Second, thought maybe the hinges, when the bolts torqued down "bowed" it a bit. Checked that, perfectly level. I then let the hood close and catch on the safety hook, and its STILL even. I put my hand on the hood to close in the middle and the drivers side looks OE, but the passenger is still popped up.
Tried removing the prop rod....not it. Check the C/C plates/shock top.....not it. I reall have no idea whats happening. The quality of the hood is good, and looks great, but its that one issue holding me up.
If anyones got any ideas, id appreciate it.

P.S. i removed all the OE rubber stoppers, and I still had the problem. Actually used them over on the drivers side to get it even. Pass. side needs help.
