I just installed my Fluidyne radiator and when I tried to put on my upper Mac chrome radiator hose it was way off. I am talking about an inch or more to far to the right of the t-stat housing. Whats going on? Everything else when on smooth, it's like these hoses somehow grew. My stock rubber hoses go on fine. Am I in the Twightlight Zone? Anyone else have the same problem?

I had the same problem. The MAC Chrome hoses with the Fluidyne radiator don't work. Mine were about an 1" off as well. My fix was to put the stock hoses back on.

Guess that is what I will have to do. That sucks, I really like those chrome hoses.

I've got the chrome ones on mine with the Fluidyne, but I don't know if they're Mac. I got them from 50resto.com. Check them out if you really want the nice hoses.

THey're the same. Did you get the direct-fit Mustang radiator or another size? Different sizes will offset the inlet/outlet and cause problems for fitment.

It is the direct fit, my stock hoses fit perfect.

I'd get a pic, but the fact that the front end of my car got SMASHED on Friday, well, the car isn't too photogenic right now.

they do work, i got them-You just have to shift the rad over whatever way it needs to line up, a major PITA, takes some tiem but can be done.
