Problem with head.......

Ok i have a question for all you peeps out there
I took off my heads from my cleveland and port and ploished them
now it comes to putting them back on
do i need to have them compressed or i dont get it at all?
Plz Help me?

Sorry, you lost me... what's the problem?

Sounds like you can't get the heads back on... but I can't tell why not. Only "compressing" that I can think of would be for the valve springs.

or do i just put them back on to the engine

When i took the heads off i did t urn the crank a couple of turns dose this afect it?

Oh...

Nah you don't need anything special. Just a new gasket and a torque wrench.

I think new head bolts are recomended also.

You can get away with reusing the old head bolts, but if one stretches and pops a gasket, it will cost the same to repair as buying ARPs and not worrying about it.

Remember, there is not a left and right head but there is a left and right head gasket!
