I just got done putting the Moroso Oil Pan on my car and I just noticed that there is no hole for the oil sensor. What do they want you to do with that? Also, there are 2 dip stick holes now so which one should I use?
Just unplug the sensor...it wont throw any lights. Plug the holes in the oil pan if you are using a stock style dipstick (in the block). If you are using a screw in, plug the hole in the block.
Also, the dipstick that comes with it doesn't screw into the pan hole because it's non threaded and too small...on top of that, the pan blocks the stock dipstick from going in because the mounting flange overlaps the hole...Also, for future reference, if I don't have an oil cooler, what would the oil capacity be now?
Youll have to find a different dip stick. If the stock dipstick hole is covered by the flange that is good because you wont have to worry about plugging it. if your pan is one of those fabricated ones (not stock replacement) the capacity should be 7 qts.
