Hey, I just got 17x9 black bullitt wheels on my 2002 V6 mustang, and the front wheels' camber is off, I think that is what the problem is. Basically if you look at the car head on the front wheels are riding crooked, they aren't flush to the ground, the outside of the tire is actually barely touching the ground and the inside is definitely bearing most of the weight (toe out i think its called?). Anyway, I wanted to know if getting aftermarket caster/camber plates would solve the problem. I know they are needed when you get your car lowered but not sure if they would help with bigger rims, I would assume so because the car is changing height, just in the opposite direction a lowering kit would change it, so I wanna say the plates would help but I am not sure. Anyone who has had this problem or knows what I am tlaking about, please let me know how to fix it. I took it to pep boys for an alignment earlier and they said I needed to get a camber kit to fix the toe in problem so I just wanna make sure before I buy one.
Thanks for any imput you have.
