So I have been trying to get my car tuned for the past month. Supposedly he will tune it perfect but by the time I show up the next day it runs like a dog. For whatever reason the tune is not sticking i guess. He first blamed it on that my car year does not have a bap sensor so everyday when the weather changes the tune will not work anymore. Now after I have asked for my money back he blames it on possibly my maf wiring...go figure. Has anybody had a problem like this before with the tune changing on them? Also before I eat my words is there a way I can test my maf wiring? I need to know the procedures for testing my maf wiring. I am not going back to this guy so I want to check my wiring before I find a new tuner that actually uses a wideband and knows how a 94 ecu works. Oh and doesn't give a car back running like crap... Sorry just aggravated.

This is a 94 5 speed with the t4mo using a moats quarterhorse chip.

Symptoms are suring idle when cold and hot. Bucking and popping when cold during normal accel and wot and some stalling when hot.

That right there tells you this guy doesn't know much
about the 94-95 pcm

He is trying to use the same logic on your car that he does on
the older Fox Stangs

Time to find a tuner who knows how to tune YOUR Stang :Word:

Yeah he mostly does fox bodies and now this prick won't give me my money back b/c hes blaming it on my maf wiring. Anyway I found the trouble shooting guide on a old ford cd I had laying around just to make sure that my maf wiring is good.

Well just as an update I got a retune by a place called jimtune on saturday and now she runs perfect. Now I'm extremely pissed at this other guy since he kept telling me it was my car that was causing the problem and wouldn't give me my money back. I'm sure i'm just going to have to take a loss on it.
